Is it me or is everyone deep down a fan of Itachi?

I can't believe some of the threads I'm reading. People seem to only hate on Itachi fanboys but still secretly worship the character.

For me it is the other way round. I don't particularly like the way Itachi was constructed and I couldn't care less about the fanboys.

I was never an Itachi fan, my favorite character before Omoi was Naruto and Gaara. Those 3 are still my favorites.

I never saw the appeal of Itachi. He's hard as hell to get a read on and because of it, it makes him seem as if he has no personality.

This is literally the only expression i've seen him have other than a calm glare:

Although I did see him smile:

And cry at one point:

Other than that, nada. It's always this expression:

The only thing I like about him is that you never know his intentions.

Same with Orochimaru.

Itachi was a pretty good and developed character... His fans are just utterly terrible though...

He was alright, just a boring character imo like Minato. Not a fan but I don't hate on him, I just dislike the people that make him out to be some godly character
