I'm personally starting to see a connection between a lot of shippuden and the real life war on terrorism. The Akatsuki is similar to Al Qaeda, simply starting off as a terrorist group terrorizing the great villages like how Al Qaeda terrorized major countries. Then, when the akatsuki took things too far by destroying Konoha and supposedly killing B a role model of a village, all the villages decided to band together to stop the akatsuki. This is similar to how Al Qaeda orchestrated 911, pushing the US to far and causing all the other major world countries to join in and declare war on terrorism.

Akatsuki fighter werent trained by konoha to fight its enemy in the past..
Akastsuki gruoups doesnt belong to specifig relegion.
There arent any 10000 volunteers or brainwashed kids who joined akatsuki
Akatsuki had a single goal not terrorizing ppl
No innocent has jailed or steriotyped assuming he could be a member of akatsuki
Konoha didnt went destroying all other countries claiming they are supporting akatsuki...
