Did Madara seem to get weaker, and less epic when he became the next SO6P? Madara was bad ass in every way, his taijutsu was good enough to take on hundreds(I think thousands) of shinobi's. His ninjutsu was bad ass, and his susano'o made him fcking epic. And I know becoming the next SO6P was supposed to make him stronger but in my opinion he seemed considerably weaker and way less bad ass. Obito on the other hand actually seemed stronger and toyed the shinobi alliance from time to time, I mean of course he got owned but still, he seemed pretty bad ass for his majority of the control of that power.

Yeah, he got nerfed badly. And I loved Madara before he turned SO6P, he had a fearsome appearance and techniques, Kishi then destroyed his character.

Obito = Tobi/Madara and Rikoudo Obito; Madara = Edo Tensei. At the time they were epic, yes. Now they seem bland.

The problem with Madara is unlike Obito, who has a curiosity and a hopefulness in his heart, Madara he seems to just want to bully. It could be that the warring ninja worlds has left Madara more empty than Obito claims he is or it could be that Madara feels he has a sense of "entitlement". I'm not trying to go off topic, but it's just that when Madara got his So6P he just went straight in for the Tskuyomi, which suggests he certainly has an arrogance to be reckoned with! Obito wasn't sure if he was right completely about the Tsukyomi, which is why he observes Naruto, but Madara seems really sure.
But wait..If Madara has been carrying Black Zetsu around with him for some time, it may explain this, Madara may have been constantly plagued by a pushy voice telling him the way to go, which could lead to distraction, and making him keen to just do what he's always been told to do by Black Zetsu, and get it out of the way, whereas Obito is more unsure and less guided.
Does this make sense? So in that way, if Black Zetsu has always been with Madara then Madara may not be motivated but to try and accomplish a vague voice/or idea he's been hearing about the Tsukyomi.
I wonder...you've got me thinking about that possibility now.. interesting...if that was the case then maybe I do sympathise with Madara.

That's an interesting view on things.

Thanks dude, I'm just now starting to think about for exactly how long has that Black Zetsu been with Madara? It's always had the objective of bringing back Kaguya, so it potentially could have been really wrecking Madara's life and interfering with his powers so, more could be seen of a more level headed Madara, but he might be apologetic second time round if it happens!! You never know..

I've said this before but I'm still hoping for a sweet ending with Itachi, Deidara and everyone back, given the chance to live a normal life without chakra maybe. It would definitely be interesting to see how someone like Madara, Deidara or Hidan might try and play at being normal people anyway!
This manga is great :hooray: week after week it's been so epic, it legendary to me, and I'm sure there's more greatness and suprises in times to come. :-D
