If Kakashi really killed Rin that way, why ?....
If it's a fake illusion, why wouldn't Kakashi just tell him the truth ? ( I doubt it was an illusion since he went on a rampage and actually killed real ninjas )
Why haven't Kakashi given an explanation yet? We now moved to another ''part'' if I could say in the manga, yet this part was never fully explained.

You know Kishi, he do this shit all the time. Trying to make his readers theorize about anything, and in the end it's probably a simple short explanation, lasting max 1 chapter (since it's not very important, why he did it).
