Is it even worth watching the fairy tail anime.

I'm thinking of continueing with fairytail i kinda stopped at the tartarus arc w/e you spell it. and i feel like the anime has a bunch of filler, and stuff that sucks. so should i watch the anime or just manga

Also if i do continue with the anime, where do i skip the filler?

No, the fairy tail Fandom doesn't want u to watch it..

Seriously though why do people hate filler, you get to see more of the charecters, keep in mind that when a series people like ends they always want more

The fillers you are talking about weren't part of the Tarterous arc, you may be talking about the sun village arc which is also cannon and then leads onto the tarterous arc which has been started a few epsiodes back. Id watch it from the sun village, the animation is a lot better than OP and Naruto in my opinion and as a manga reader I liked these arcs, so go for it.
