that naruto does not have RSM? why would he not have the TSB or the cloak from his fight versus madara. the misconception with RSM is that RSM is only his eyes changing and not having the iris around his eyes, the cloak isn't depicting him in RSM, the cloak is him in bijuu mode or KCM, and the TSB and eyes are RSM. Which would mean, Naruto can use the TSB and that sage mode without having the chakra cloak active, am i wrong?

anyway, in the last, does naruto have regular sage mode eyes? i don't see why they would power him down

My thoughts exactly. This could be like the mode Naruto used to first fight Madara. He obviously has some sort of Rikkudo chakra active within this mode.

You're trying to rationalize that Didn't use it = Doesn't have it.

Maybe he believed all he needed was Kurama. Maybe after getting his chakra reserves nuked and stolen did he believe it was a bad idea to get 8 times the amount and risk making Toneri stronger than he already was.

Maybe SP and Kishi didn't want Naruto to straight up beat his ass.

Maybe if he went RSM and nuked Toneri, Hanabi would still be blind.

There's all these speculations on both of our parts but one thing that's undeniable is Naruto still has Ōtsutsuki Chakra.

In the movie he used it to directly negate Ōtsutsuki chakra and justu. I guarantee that when he did it, he was using Ying-Yang release.

first of all, toneri pretty much negged naruto twice in the movie.

the first time he literally caused naruto's chakra to come out of him causing a big explosion. naruto was out for 3 days and it took sakura giving him most of her chakra to heal him.

2nd time was during the final battle, toneri after being beat in the fight absorbed all of naruto's chakra making him drop to his knees, hinata however gave naruto her chakra which has hamura chakra

I will compare it to what I think it can be compared to thank you very much. You're begging the question. You're passing off Naruto having to not touch the TSBs of Toneri as evidence that he's weaker than base RSM Naruto since you attribute Toneri's TSBs as weak, yet, the only reason to think they're sup-par is because of Naruto's success to them, but that's under the assumption Naruto isn't strong. It's an endless cycle of reliance.
