Is it better to be a "nice guy" or an " a-hole"?

So, what's better? A nice guy is usually the one that turns into the 40 year old virgin. The a-hole is the one that gets some when they're real young. What's better though? Obviously girls like a-holes more to a certain extent, but don't stay with them long. The "nice" guy (meaning the guy that's basically shy because he doesn't want to be a d**k) gets the girl that wants a real relationship (if he gets a girl that is). So what is better?

This thread is partly inspired by the movie "Mancation". For those of you that have seen it, you know what I'm talkin' about.

Nice guy or not, a-hole or not, if the intent behind it all is corrupted, I don't really think it matters what facade you put up, though logically speaking, if all were a-holes things probably wouldn't work out as brittlely well as it has and is today.

Being a nice guy is practical in a sense of "gain" in its own way as is being an a-hole.
And this is not counting those who really are nice and those who really are bitter enough to be a-holes, even including them in this thread would be an insult to both.

I see what you're saying, I do, but one can't deny that there are true gentlemen in this world either. I'm one of them, and I do not take advantage of a lady to satisfy my own desires. I've been in several situations where I could have easily taken advantage, but I didn't because I respected not only the woman, but myself. I could get laid tomorrow if I wanted to, but I'm a romantic at heart, a "nice guy", so I pass on those opportunities.

I'm considering turning into a total douchebag though since I don't want to die this way...then again I might die alone either way.
