Why do major overpowered characters in anime more centered in shonen keep losing an arm and even more specifically swordsmen
?
In One Piece Shanks, the yonko, lost an arm to something he could've negged (which he later did)
In bleach Kenpachi, an extremely powerful character in bleach whose shikai is a giant meteor buster casually, he loses an arm too
In Naruto Sasuke, with the most strongest and hax potential and powers with his Tomoe rinnegan and EMS lost an arm as well granted Naruto also did but he got that arm back while sasuke still is without one.
Even in DBZ, it wasn't permanent nor is he a swordsman but SSJ2 Gphan got his arm annihilated, and still negged with one hand
Etc etc, why do certain major hax anime characters need to lose an arm? Is it because they are too hax with two or what? Because I know sasuke with both arms back would be a bit too hax so kishi needed to bring him down a notch :bdpf:.
