Let's make a thread about Ino. There are so many threads about Hinata and Sakura and people constantly say how much they hate Sakura but aren't there even more reasons to dislike Ino? Well, that's at least how I feel. I can't say I really hate Ino but I dislike her while liking Tenten, Sakura and Hinata all on an equal level.
First of all, why do people like Ino more than Sakura? Is it really just the looks? She seems to be more attractive to people here so no one ever calls her fodder or useless. I just wonder why and maybe some of you might like to explain if there is more to it.
I do not like rating the design of Ino and Sakura here but more Ino's personality. As a kid, she looked like the typical bully. She was a super popular, pretty and confident girl, Sakura was being bullied (even if she was prettier). Some people might call Ino a good friend because she picked young Sakura up and helped her building up confidence. I think she only did it to have the 'uglier girl in the group'. Means she wanted to be above her.
Their relationship is alot like Naruto's and Sasuke's. Sasuke accepted Naruto as long as he could save his life, teach him lessons, feel above him. The second Naruto started to become better, he hated him and wanted to fight.
It was the same with Ino. Sakura got better, started to become a ninja. As long as Ino felt high and mighty, it was ok. Later everything turned into jealousy over a guy, then over Sakura's new skills that Ino wanted to copy.
People here call Sakura a bitch who lies around. Ino tried to flirt with Neji during the chuunin exams to get his help. He saw through it and ignored her. There, Ino lied around and tried to get the best for her. Sakura relied on her friends but still stood up for them against the sound people. She had nothing, was weak and useless back then, just a mere girl but she tried. Ino waited and watched her suffer, then stood up because her friends were with her and because she wasn't 100% *******. But Sakura was alone first and tried, Ino never tried alone and waited.
People hate Sakura for waiting and relying on others. Ino did alot worse back then and didn't even try.
And now last thing, finding a way. While Sakura tried to add to her team and train more, Ino waited. Her team has a move that only works in a combo, Ino does nothing on her own. Sakura does alot on her own when she heals people.
So why is Ino more popular? Well, people might say she isn't. People ignore Ino but bash Sakura. I can understand being for Hinata or Sakura when it comes to Naruto but I don't understand why Sakura and Ino aren't compared as rivals. Is it really just physical attraction that saves Ino from critics? Discuss.
