I am now a graduate from highschool as of today. i swore up and down that i was ready to leave and when it hit 5th period i could not help but feel some sadness

I took a walk and i remembered things from my freshman, to my senior year.

I've been sitting here and wondering what am i going to do now. the world is open to me and the fact that i passed with the ability to enter a 4 year college. (you need to pass 2 years of foreign language where i am from) so... i am trying to ask

have you felt or currently feeling like i am

which is a mix of

Happy, Sad, angry, content, somber, hyper, and finally confusion.

i mean i've cried today, because i would not be poet if it was not for some of my teaches and you know... i sort of grew bonds with them to the point i consider them a father and mother figure when the ones that raised me died.

so share your grad story

I was glad to leave that....place. I kinda hit the ground running after highschool was over and went cross-country with my folks. I came back and *BAM* Junior in college.

You are not the only one every emotion you listed I have experience it. Most of your life in the beginning was at school so its a bit frightening to actually leave a place where your mind, body spirit has connected with for a few years. Its tough at first but you would get used to it. Just remember to keep your head up, remain Confident and stay positive and you would be find.

Thanks :)

i guess it was my home away from home. :) i loved some of my teachers as if family. i would even make them tea sometimes and i would deliver them based on their likes. such as my English teach liked rosed tea. (Tea with boiled rose pedals, it actually makes it naturally more sweet. because of the small amount of nectar.) then some would just like the tea without sugar (hard core teachers that wanted to stay awake and have energy.)

they did so much for me there, and i started to give back to them. some even treated me better and above most other students. such as i could get away with walking out of class cause they knew i was not doing drugs (like i can, i got bad asma, and i have no alcohol tolerance which i found out with my cousin a year back)

and in the end... i was lucky

Aah.. that feeling.. weird, huh.
But I despised high school. I didn't even go to my graduation. I was already on a plane flying to the carribean back then xD

Yeah, it's normal. I went to the same middle and elementary school for 10 years, so when I graduated it was this really interesting mixture of sadness and anticipation for high school. I was chosen to read a speech for the graduation and I started crying in the middle of it. Twas a *****, indeed. >_o
