I mean the similarities are just too uncanny.
-Goku is a monkey by nature and sayian blood.
-The surname Sarutobi means monkey, Hiruzen has a natural affinity to monkeys.
-Goku possess the Power Pole: is a magical, length-changing staff that is owned and wielded by Goku. the Power Pole is based off one of the Monkey King's possessions in the Chinese novel Journey to the West, the Ruyi Jingu Bang. In both depictions, the weapon is a pole that can change size when the user wills it; however, the Monkey King's cudgel is coated with a black iron known as "crow iron", and thus is extremely heavy (over 8.5 metric tons). The Power Pole is capable of extending to the moon if its user wills it. It can also be utilized by the user without him actually having to touch it, as evidenced by how Goku managed to catch the young thief who stole most of his gear during the Red Ribbon Army Saga.
-Hiruzen possess Enma: who is capable of transforming into a diamond-hard staff, which could alter its length and width at will to unknown lengths. Enma is a caricature of the legendary Chinese Monkey King, Sun Wukong. Sun Wukong carries a staff which grows and shrinks at will and wears the pelt of a legendary tiger as well. Enma can be utilized without Hiruzen having to actually to touch it, as it moved at Hiruzens will by itself when he was restrained by Hashiramas Wood Release.
What does Goku's name mean: Goku's full name, Son Goku, is the Japanese name for Sun Wukong, the main protagonist in the Chinese legend Journey to the West.
It all makes sense now! How can a skinny staff like Enma break all of Hashiramas Wood Style up with no dificulty, break the Shinjus Wood Style up no difficulty, and easily push Kurama completely out of the leaf village no difficulty?!! It weights 8.5 metric tons like the Power Pole does so it has more than enough power to do all of that!!
So how does Hiruzen wield a weapon so heavy; even in his old age?!! He is the Goku of the Narutoverse, that's how. He knows all techniques in his village, so he uses Tsuandes technique of manipulating chakra to become inhumanly strong (he was her teacher he taught it to her) to do it!!
