Is Hirudora a Taijutsu Technique?

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if Hirudora is taijutsu or ninjutsu or a mixture because for any taijutsu there is no need for hand signs but, as we saw guy sensei makes hand sign (that resembles tiger seal) for launching hirudora.

Can anyone tell me why it is like this?

Yes guy sensei mentioned but why it require a hand seal, isn't hand seal associated with ninjustu or genjutsu only?

It is a taijutsu those formations are to compress the air in his punch to create the hirudora. It uses no chakra at all. It just uses the sheer force of his punch.

One more thing i want to mention that if it is a highly powerful punch then how guy was able to launch it when gyuki and guy were caught in madara's wood style,, at that time guy only made this hand seal and launched hirudora without any movement!!!
What i am saying is there is definitely a flaw in this technique one one hand it is taijutsu on the other hand it has all characteristics of a ninjutsu!! I think kishi got confused himself in creating this jutsu XD

Yes they ere caught in it, but his upper body was not... as long as you have your upper body, you can still throw a punch. And of course no movement is going to be shown, because it is a super fast punch
