[Discussion] Is Hiro looking to end Fairy Tail in this arc?

Well we've got all the remaining villains entwined in this arc.

we've even got the return of Igneel.

I just hope it isn't rushed, I would really prefer it if we saw a training arc in preparations to fight Acnologia or something like that.

Oh well Hiro hasn't disappointed me thus far so I have faith.

Secondly this all still feels like some kind of prelude, Zeref's appearance in particular. When the talked to Natsu Zeref had the attitude of that it all still didn't had any real relevance to him, that it's something other people are doing and Zeref will probably be the final antagonist.

I agree. We have to know who the 3 stongest Wizard Saints are. Like one of the members posted above, this feels like a prelude, and not the final arc. Because if Natsu has to defeat Zeref, according to Zeref himself, there is no way that he currently is strong enough to do so.

Hopefully there will be at least two or 5 arc's left. (WE NEED GILDARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

No not at all.Lately I am seeing this type of threads in many discussion sites!It is not going end anytime soon.Hiro said that he wants to make this series run for least 10 years or so.Also when Tartarus arc started hiro teased that this arc is just a prolong to the actual one.Read below what Hiro said or artistically seilah said >.> If you look at it more deeply there is a lot to explain in this manga which are remained still a Mysteries!Also on top of that FT can continue as long as it wants.It is easy to add more plot & story and make it continue forever for a story like FT

Fairy Tail is ending considering everything is wrapping up. We are on the verge of a back story for Natsu since Igneel appeared, LH is being released, Tartarous is almost destroyed, Acnologia is being taken care of and Layla is going to be introduced soon.

I think the way Hiro is enjoying writing Fairy Tail at the moment it isn't ending anytime in the near future.
This arc has been one of the best arc of the manga and Hiro atm looks very dedicated towards FT.
Moreover, many FT spin-offs have started and FT zero is being written by him, so if he was getting bored from FT he wouldn't have done so.
Also sales of Fairy Tail have been good and it is a mainstay of Weekly shonen magazine of Kodansha, so even Kodansha won't be willing to end it too soon.

And with the many mysteries still lingering, FT may have 2-3 big arcs and 2-3 years more to come.
