and for those saying she's a side character, look at guy: he was irrelevant for most of part 2, becomes relevant during his fight with kisame, disappears throughout the whole war arc, shows up again to fight obito, disappears again, and now he's fighting Madara.

Maybe we will now more about Hyuugas, who knows. But Hinata would have to get the most drastic power up in this manga to be able to help. Besides, why would Kaguya want to talk to Hinata? Aside from Byakugan, they have nothing in common. Basically, Kaguya was the female version of Madara and Sasuke.

I wouldn't say that; we haven't even seen hinata's abilities much in part 2. Her only real fight was with Neji. And seeing as how she saved Neji, assisted Ino, and all the things she did between 614-617, I'd say her abilities are pretty good. But I don't wanna get into details.

Reasons for the meeting? Meh... I have some, but I don't think it should matter right now. I mean, the only reason sasuke and Naruto met hagoromo was to learn of the past mistakesof their family and fix their ancestors mistake. Hinata too will learn if her clan's history and fix her ancestor's mistake (she'll destroy the fruit)

so i guess the hyuga defending the crap out of naruto and neji dying and hinata's TnJ was not this development or even a part of it since kishi hinted this hyuga development even before his last interview.

I dont think she was holding back against Juubis clones. That was her max. To help against Madara should would have to transcend a couple of levels at once, that would be the most drastic power up in this manga. Considering that even Naruto or Sasuke never had such power ups, its simply impossible.

Why can't anyone understand that this thing is between the reincarnation of the two sons to fix what was wrong for many many generations. This is not the affairs of a trio, this is between Naruto and Sasuke.

This plot is bigger than any subplot out there especially dojutsu origins. This is about two individuals, and we are trying to get convinced Hinata will talk with kaguya, who i might add is irrelevant to the plot of the two brothers in terms of helping them will reincarnate in hinata and make her settle things with naruto and sasuke.

No, that is the worst writing in the history of manga if that were to happen, fortunately the majority can see this.

Hinata has no more major roles left fighting wise-even she if uses the lion fists combined with 64 palms thing, she's still going to be fodder compared tot he 5 kages, naruto,sasuke,kakashi,gaara,tobirama,minato etc THATS the level you need to be on to even have a chance at being relevant at the present time. Overall, her character is built around her love scenes with naruto-nothing more,nothing less.
