[Discussion] Is Hide still alive?

This has not been yet revealed till now whether ken/sasaki ate him or not ?

What do you guys think is he still out there still alive ?

I probably say Ken will have Trauma if he finds out he ate his friend.

It really can go either way. Unlike Shounen Jump, Tokyo Ghoul can go for serious deaths and not bring them back from something.

It wouldn't surprise me that he would be dead, but the fact that there was purposely placed suspense for it makes me curious. I hope the writer isn't one of those, it's a suspenseful moment that will never have a clear answer.

Generally in anime and manga when someone isn't shown dead it's because they aren't. Maybe Ishida is keeping this one for a heart-breaking flashback though.
