I'm not sure. I remember at some point in the war arc i think kakazu mentions that hidan hadn't been brought back and that he's probably still alive.

We really don't know though. I think he may have had to do his weird ritual stuff and pray to jashin or whatever to keep his immortality, but i could be wrong. He may just be rotting in a hole. Regardless, i dont think he's about to make a return.
