Is Hellsing any good?

Hellsing Ultimate is completely cannon, Hellsing is just...I don't know none of it is cannon to the manga its weird.

awesome story, bloody ........ veeeery bloody/full of gore and has the biggest bad ass in anime history as a lead character.
advice watch the OVA/hellsing ultimate (SUBBED). it's one of my all time favorite anime's, give it a shot. *_* it's unbelievable.

Yes!! The anime is great !! Um the difference between Hellsing and Hellsing Ova is the OVA stays true to the manga and the other one is completely different .
I myself prefer the english dub but the sub is good too .

Hellsing Ultimate is amazing. I only saw that and read parts of the manga. But it's epic. I heard characters like Alexander Anderson aren't as nicely portrayed in the Hellsing itself.
