Is Hashirama worth the hype?

Madara was way worth all the hype and i say he not only lived up to it but far surpassed it!

So the question: Is Hashirama worth the hype?

Sure, he can use wood, he can heal more quickly then tsunade without seals but does he have anything that would put him above Madara?
I don´think so especially since Sarutobi beat Hashirama and Tobirama at the same time.

Madara is taking on the five kages with ease.
How is Hashirama living up to anything? We still don´t know how the battle at the valley of the end went so we can´t really say he was stronger then Madara, he was probably just a little stronger then him but remember, when Hashirama got resurrected, he was young, just like he would look in his prime which tells you that he died some time after the fight with Madara which is the same thing that happened to Madara! He died some time after.

You might say he´s living up to the hype because of his cells, he lives to the hype because every strong shinobi want a piece of him to gain his power but i could simply turn it around saying that everyone wants the sharingan.

There is nothing that say Hashirama is better then Madara + he had the help of his brother tobirama when he lost to Hiruzen so what does that tell you?

Does he live to the hype? No.

He does, and in the fight with the third hokage orochimaru was controlling them and don't forget that madara is just so powerful now because he is using the first hokage's DNA.

The two hokages that the third fought weren't able to move for themselves oro had to tell both of them what to do. Those brothers would have slain the third.

He is only taking on the kages with "ease" because Kabuto gave Madara some of the firsts body/powers. If you think about it all Madara has done is use the 1st techniques and some fire jutsu he hasn't really done much but stand there and talk.

Does the 1st live up to the hype? We don't know yet we havent seen him in action but its fair to say hes def a top 5 ninja of all time

He probably only said it out of respect, Madara and Hashirama is like Naruto and Sasuke, they are opposite sides of the same coin, ying/yang, when one improves so does the other and you´ve seen this throughout the series.
They will be equal in their final battle but the thing that will put naruto slighty above sasuke will be the will of fire.
I think that is the same situation when it comes to Madara and Hashirama, that Hashirama is only better because he´s good and "he has something to protect" which is the will of fire.

Excuse Nagato by saying the only reason he was caught in totsuka sword is because of Kabuto.

lol madara became a legend when he didnt even have the powers of the 1st and he took his DNA to make him stronger i dont really see a different in him getting his DNA and new power and orochimaru wanting sharingan or even kakashi using his sharingan its not his but hes still good

Well this chapter shut up the Minato fans cause quite frankly, if you can regenerate from an attack there's no way Minato can defeat Hashirama with just FTG.

He lives up to the hype every chapter he is shown in.

hashirama has so much power , to top it off he also has healing abilities near that of kabuto or narutos... they dont even need to make handsigns , the three of them heal so fast , yes hashirama is a city buster with every mokuton jutsu

He wasn't controlling any of the akatsuki, and from what I saw he only completely controlled a few of them. And never at the same time as others. So basically he controlled Nagato but did not override his personality entirely until later, while Oro had to override both the hokages' personalities at once and completely control them and coordinate their attacks. When Nagato was completely controlling Nagato there were no other edos being completely controlled
