Is Hanabi still stronger than Hinata?

When Hinata was twelve and Hanabi was 7, Hanabi was stronger than Hinata. That is an impressive feat, no matter how weak Hinata was at that time, considering that Hinata went through 5 years in the academy and had a significant hight/weight advantage. We know that now Hinata is certainly stronger than she was when she was twelve. We have seen her use new jutsu like Air palm and gentle step:twin lion fists. However Hanabi wouldve also grown in those four years. If she is a faster learner than Hinata, which seemed to be the case, she would have grown faster. Also, being the heir to the leadership of the Hyuuga clan, Hiashi would have taught her powerful Jutsu that maybe he didn't teach Hinata.
So who do you think is stronger now: Hinata or Hanabi?

Hinata. She's fighting in a war! That's experience Hanabi will probably never gain. Plus I think Kishi has Hiashi next to her on the frontlines for a reason. Hiashi is witnessing first hand how much Hinata has grown and how she can take leadership when needed (like how she was the one to snap Naruto out of his trance). I think Hinata will gain her title back...assuming she wants it.

I think Kishi forgot about Hanabi. I mean, he even forgets Sakura sometimes, so how could he remember the sister of a side character who only appeared in the audience during the Chunnin Exams? Hanabi was just created so as to have Hinata's back story work.

OT: I'd say Hinata, since she's ben trained by Neji & Hiashi. and hanabi sin't the next heir any more, it's Hinata agin. Also, Hinata's fighting in a war against the Juubi while Hanabi is back in Konoha sipping tea and watching Spongebob.

I'll leave you with that.

Honestly, I think it will depend upon what the task at hand is. Hanabi will likely be a 'successor' to Neji (though, being made by Kishimoto, she's likely to be fodder for misogyny like every female). She would likely excel at classic Hyuuga combat while Hinata excels at tracking and abilities that are not part of the classic Hyuuga style.

Or I could be wrong. Kind of hard to tell at this point.

Probably not. Hinata is a chuunin and has been on many real dangerous missions. She was on the team to find Sasuke. She fought Pain. She fought Juubi. She is much more battle hardened. She also has the guts and determination to never give up and never goes back on her word because that is her ninja way!

Kishi has never actually shown hanabi in action or in any scene except for a flashback in shippuden which is a filler....but if hanabi coukd beat hinata at such a young age, and if she trains equally like hinata then she should be stronger....i don't think hanabi will ever eppear in any scene again unless kishi plans to dragthe story beyond the 4th war...say upto naruto's wedding with hinata if that at all happens....
