Is Guy Kage level?

Well Kakashi was gonna be Hokage twice, and is a better Hokage then Tsunade IMO. So that would make guy kage level. Plus if he did go 8 Gates he'd "attain power even greater then the hokage himself" - Kakashi

If hokage was determined by simply the amount of damage one can inflict in battle he would be kage level however there is more to being a kage than just being powerful. dont get me wrong they could hang with some of the kages but would they make the decisions that they do in times of peace and war.

Im not sure... if Guy has the same training weights as Lee, then maybe. But really the only thing that makes Guy "Kage level" to people here is his gates. Every time he uses the gates he brings himself damage, so putting him as Kage for a tech that just about kills him is pretty stupid. Thats like saying if the ONLY thing Kakashi could do was Kamui (which after 2-3 drains him completely) is enough op-ness to make him Kage level... doesnt work like that.

I think both guy and kakashi are A-rank, but borderline S-rank. They are both probably the closest to being kage level in the village, unless you count naruto even tho that would be a stretch

Kakashi was going to be Hokage base on him being the student of the 4th Hokage and being the son of the White Fang.The Fire Daimyo loves legacies and Kakashi being the White Fang son and Minato student had more to do with his candidacy than his actual accomplishments.As for Kakashi being a better Hokage than Tsunade, that's one unfunny joke.

Yes, both Guy and Kakashi are Kage level.
If not, they are definitely S-Rank Shinobi.
I mean, look at all the other Jounin. They seem so weak!

Both Guy and Kakashi are LEAPS AND BOUNDS above those listed in terms of strength. Kakashi is technically a genius. Guy lacks intelligence, but in terms of strength, he's way up there. They're both around 30, so I'm sure by the time they're 35-40, they will be even stronger.
