[Question] Is Guilty Crown worth the watch?

I've heard some bad things about it but damn, it was made by the same studio that made CG and was meant to mimic it right?
So is it similar to CG?
If so is it worth the watch, or is it garbage like a lot of people say it is?

It's not garbage. It has good moments and good ideas, but it doesn't capitalize on most of them. It's entertaining. You probably won't be bored

I watched it and i have no regrets. It was definitely worth my time.

Had really good animation and awesome soundtracks. Story was also good overall.

Is CG supposed to be Code Geass? Code Geass was produced by Sunrise. Guilty Crown was produced by Production I.G., the studio that produced Attack on Titan.

haven't seen CG, so I can't make any comparisons other than there are mecha in both.

Guilty Crown has an amazing OST and high production value as you can tell from its stellar art/animation. You'll probably like the first several episodes.... maybe even enjoy the whole first half.

But later on the series you'll realize that the plot drops down to "garbage" level. Some liked the ending, some did not. For me, there were hardly any likeable characters, and those who I found decent died. Oh yeah, and the MC is one of the most hated anime protagonists.

Yeah you're write, it was the writing crew that was more or less the same I think.

Can't say I'm interested in a story that falls flat on it's face tbh, and I don't like crappy characters either, so I think I'll pass.
