Personally, its your opinion. Whether he is or is not is only something you can look around and determine for yourself. But only way for him to be evil is for him to be real. If you dont think he is real then im not sure how you can attribute anything bad that happened to him. If you think he is fake, and still evil, then it doesnt matter becuase he has not actually did anything becuase he is fake.

Everything that god creates will eventually be destroyed.

But when he created mankind (his own image), it created a problem:

He created a godlike being which would then be destroyed. (Reasons being that our created reality must continue to exist through recycling: (one dies so another may live) and that eventually those created turns chaotic and need to be destroyed so that there can be order once more.

However since were godlike beings, we were given a choice: consequence. Lucifer argued that since we are CREATED godlike beings, we can CHOOSE on whether we NEED to be destroyed. Thus the concept of freewill was born.
