[Question] Is Giselle transgender?

I saw this on another site a few min ago. Two people were arguing over whether or not she was really a girl. A few other people seemed completely assured that Giselle was a boy pretending to be a girl and they seemed like this was obvious. I never thought that was obvious and never really noticed it when reading the manga... So what do you guys think? Is she a dude or a chick?
