Yeah it is. It's a trait that cannot be controlled and does not impede or otherwise harm others, and doesn't make them any less human that those possessing different traits. They don't deserve to have a right or service denied to them because of it.

I don't think the struggle that homosexuals have endured is exactly the same or has gone to the extremes of what black people have endured in America, especially with slavery taken into account, but is similar and comparable, same with women.
