I thought the same... it IS an inspired version considering KISHI is a big DBZ fan himself...

O.t.:They r similar in terms of the attack taking the shape of a dragon, but i wouldnt be surprised if he did take inspiration from it.

Yes indeed, but that isnt always the case.
Kish. himself said some of his work is inspired by dbz, e.g. the four-tails beast and its jinchuuriki, the tailrd beast is name Son Goku and four tails is the same number as the four-star dragon which is Goku's Stepfather's dragonball, and Roshi is the namr of the jinchuuriki which is also the name of Goku's mentor.

I don't think so. Guy's taijutsu moves are apparently based on animals that represent a piece of time. The dragon is the last, so it wasn't really inspired by DBZ in terms of using a dragon, just coincidental. Dragons are popular after all.
