Really, he'll be Jonin at another village and Kakashi is Kage level.
Correct me if I'm wrong but once the village boundaries were shattered and the Shinobi alliance was formed, Gaara was named at a higher post than Kakashi and Darui and blah blah blah.

Come on, I think Kakashi is barely Kage level but his leadership aptitudes made him apt choice for Hokage candidate and he's one of the best Leaf elements. Gaara defeated his father, helped in defeating Muu, defeated 2nd Mizukage and is now still fighting Edo Madara.

For sure, he's Kage level and a pretty strong one too.

I said if you put him in another village he would be jonin and not the leader of that village.
Kakashi is kage level, but he isnt the hokage. Same would happen to gaara if he was in another village, as i feel that the sand is the weakest village

You merely twisted my words in order for your thread to succeed, nothing more.
If gaara was a cloud ninja or a leaf ninja for example, who wouldnt be the leader of those villages
xdxdxd
I twisted your words did I?

OK then. Try again then.

Kage isn't just about strength or else the Uchiha would have been chosen.

Gaara facts:

Youngest Kage ever.
Commander of the Joint Shinobi army.
General of Division 4.
Called the Golden Egg of the Kage's by the 2nd Mizukage.
Stronger than a Biju. Ichibi.
He is fighting Madara with the other Kage.
Rallied everyone to form this unified army.

Just some reasons why he is certainly Kage by any standards. And saying that compared to other villages he isn't worthy of the title is silly. If he'd been in another village, scenarios would have been different.
Many of the Suna Shinobi could be Kazekage I'm sure, but we don't see too much of Suna cause it isn't one of the stories focal points atm. It's been done.

I didn't twist ur words, I took them as they were.

Lol kakashi isn't kage level, if tsunade hadn't had woken up the leaf would've easily had the weakest kage, and kakshi. Is my favorite character. Gara is kage level he is one of the weakest of the five though...as for kakshi he doesn't. Even compare to the first 4 hokage

Uchiha's werent chosen for other reasons.

Anyway you either twisted my words or you cannot read. Fact is gaara might be kage level, but then again so is bee, gai, kakashi and they arent leaders of their villages. Same would apply to gaara.

If gai, kakashi or bee were sand ninja's you could argue that they would be the strongest in the village. Not even sure why you had to create a thread

this. he couldn't be a kage in other villages because the other kages are stronger than him right now, except Tsunade, but he's still young and can improve.

Bee huh...? sigh

Bee: Not exactly the smartest individual but I will say he is very tough. Strength alone can't make a Kage. You need to be able to put personal matters aside and be diplomatic. So no to Bee.

Gai: Again, Gai doesn't really meet the requirements to be a Kage either. He is very strong but hasn't shown himself to be a great tactician or very smart.
So no to Gai.

Kakashi: He is a suitable candidate but his timekeeping is somewhat terrible.

A Kage needs to be a rounded individual capable of leading a group/village and able to make selfless decisions based on the greater good.
For those reasons there are many strong Shinobi who cannot be considered for the title.

I think I've made my point clear enough at this stage. The Kage is not the strongest person in the village. They are something much more. Gaara has the qualities required to be Kazekage, which is why no matter where he is, he would still make a great Kage.

To Frozenstein: Gaara is the best of the Kage's currently. Maybe not strength wise. But he is the reason there is a joint Shinobi army. The others were too busy arguing while he was being diplomatic.

Garra is very powerful and what alot of people fail to realize when comparing him to other kages is that the fact he is only 16-17 and haven't even reached his prime yet.

I agree that Sunagakure is not a strong village in itself. That does not mean that Gaara isn't strong though. Would that logic make Sasori only jounin level since he was from there as well? A whole village's status is not true for everyone in it.

I reckon the Tsuchikage would have passed on his Kage title to Gaara by now... Man is getting old and Gaara's strong enough to take over from him

We are getting off topic.
I already know that being strong alone doesnt make you a village leader. You are getting confused with what im trying to say. Basically bee, gai, kakashi are all kage level in terms of strength, but none of them are the village leader.
Similarly gaara is kage level, but if he was to be taken out of the sand and put into another village, he would still be kage level, but he wouldnt be leader of that village. Thats all there is to this

I just read through the thread a little and saw the original statement that you made regarding Gaara that made this thread possible and I must say.....you words were taken out of context lol. Gaara probably wouldn't be the kage in most of the other villages but he'd still be kage level. I think he could have shot at hokage though, konoha doesn't have a lot of choices other than Naruto gai and kakashi. Cloud, no. Sand, yes. Mist, no cos its always raining. Rocky place...idk enough about them so....maybe?

He's 15...or just turned 16...:D

Thank you for being honest. However so far Gaara has shown himself to be either in league or better than most of the other Kage's strength wise.

hehe, that's not what you were saying at the start. I think someone's eating their words...:D

So now you are saying that no matter what Village you put him in he is still Kage level? Not Jounin?

You really need reading lessons. I never once said that gaara wasnt kage level. I said he wouldnt be kage/leader of another village
