is Ergo Proxy worth watching ?

I have seen few screenshots from it as well as heard many good opinions of it. Is it something similar to Hellsing but more about killing mutants instead of zoombies ? What's your opinion ?

I've heard it's a good show, and like Mistica said, it's more a philosophical anime. I bought it and have the DVDs but just haven't gotten around to watching it. lol

There is no proper answer.Depends on what kind of anime do you prefer.
Ergo Proxy is a gloomy anime,made up of philosophical references and psychological implications,not for everyone.Of course you can give it a shot but if you prefer some shounen or light,almost plotless , anime than most likely you won't like it.

I haven't finished it but I've seen around 6 episodes and I'd recommend it. It's a very good and enjoyable series

It's very good for its genre and certainly recommendable, but I might go as far as to say it's for a select niche. There are a lot of people that'll probably get bored by it and it's pretty depressing, not to mention complex as all hell (not quite on a Serial Experiments Lain level, but pretty close). Still, I enjoyed for the most part, so give it a go
