Is this because that guy wrote "these's" ?

You do realize that not everyone has English as their first language
Not so much because of the 'these's guy', but because you can go anywhere on the Internet, or rather in real life, and see people that just fail at spelling.

I understand not every person speaks English, but for the ones that do, they could at least try to get their words right.

Age? I'm only 16, and I like to think I have fairly good English and am good at writing and spelling, except for the word English of course. lol ~Logic~ is only 14 and he knows how to use words correctly. Also, I feel as if many people on this site are around college age.
not everybody speaks english as a first language

i know people who go to college, they do not speak English as well as i do but they are crazy mathematicians

First of, if you're going to be critical of other's grammatical errors make sure your thread is rid of all grammatical errors itself.

Secondly, not everyone on this forum is from an English speaking country, so you have to take that into consideration.

Thirdly, you're on a Naruto online forum. Does it bother you that much if a 9 year old kid that likes to read Naruto can't spell correctly. Or articulate anything he has to say perfectly? If so, maybe you shouldn't be on an anime forum.

The main thing that I would like to point out is that not everybody knows English as their first language. I myself know English and Spanish fluently and I don't mind the random misspells every so often. As long as I can get the gist of what you're saying then I'm ok with it. What I'm not ok with is Ebonics, it's just flat out annoying and unnecessary.

It's the Interwebs. In all honesty people don't care for grammar unless it's for professional reasons. But it a fan base like this we don't really have to use proper English. It's nice to comment once if there is a misspell word but if you are gonna belittle a person just for grammar. Then that's just poor character. Really bad people skills.

I see it way too often. People that don't know how to spell, use contractions, or downright write. I see your and you're messed up all of the time. The same thing goes for there, their, and they're. Is using correct English really that hard? I understand some people abbreviate, such as 'Y', 'idk', etc., but honestly? Do people these days just not care about English class, or are they that stupid?

Sorry if this sounds like a rant a female would give, but it's kind of enraging at times.

Yeah, I feel pretty dumb for misspelling the word English on a thread about English and spelling. Forgive me.

For those of you saying, "Not everyone from this site is from an English-speaking country," I never once directed this thread towards this site. I generalized it by saying 'people', NOT 'people on NarutoBase'.
The way i look at English is, it's only purpose is to communicate. Not to look good.

So, if someone were to write "your small" i can easily see that the person means "you're small". The person who invented language, probably did not intend for it to be perfect, the person probably just wanted to let other people know what he/she means.

The only time i care about misspelling or people changing words, is when it takes me more than a second to understand what they are trying to say. For example "Awesome - @w3s0m3"

so ye not sure y u care sooo much about it lawlz

Is English hard?

*Misspells english*

Also, not everyone here comes from an English-speaking country. You should be more sensitive to that.

I know I'd be pretty lost on a Japanese Forum.
He didn't misspelled English.
It is a noun which means the name of a language, therefore it should be written with capital E.
The same goes for nouns which express names of nationalities for example.
Romanian, English, French, Portuguese, Spanish people etc.

Though the rest of title is wrong. Capitalized "really" and "hard" are wrong there.

Now to answer your question, I don't know why.
I am not an English native myself but I've seen myself in certain situations where I spelled more correctly than other native English people which was pretty strange, to be honest. :|

It's annoying when you are reading wrong articles(like in the fanfiction or bio histories) but it's not hard to get over.

Do those from other countries not count as people to you? If you're criticizing people in general for their poor English skills, then you are still criticizing people from non-English-speaking countries.

Sometimes it irritates me when I read posts or messages with a lot of mistakes, but like most already pointed out, not everyone has English as their native language.

I always try to write without mistakes, but that's just because I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to that.

I do know of a site, however, of which I'm also a member, that asked the members to make sure their posts were as grammatically correct as possible and the spelling without too many mistakes because apparently there is a program on the internet that goes around and deletes sites which have too many errors in the fields of grammar and spelling *shrugs*
