is deidara one of the strongest in the manga

The only reason why sasuke won other than plot no jutsu was because he had a sharigan and was a raiton user. There aren't that many long rang fighters like him and hardly any one is fast enough to close the distance and stop his jutsu. His explosive release is pretty power and if he ever gets in a bad situation he can use his c4 or land mines(which if you can't detect or disable it then you probably would die). He can also use his left eye to counter genjutsu.

Deidara got trolled by normal sasuke pretty hard lol I always feel bad for him.
imo one of the worst trolled character in manga.
but he is capable of taking down a lot of top guns actually, he can force a draw with a lot of people who don't have major defense tech, underground tech ( earth release ) or S/T tech.

not many have the speed to escape the self-destruct.

Deidara was one of the strongest in manga. You cant join akatsuki if your weak. I agree sasuke was a bad matchup for him. But i dont feel sorry for him because he picked that fight with sasuke . He should have got scounting report on sasuke first.But like you said deidara is beating most ninja .

I think so. Hes not better then any of the super kages, or top tier jinchuriki. The only akatsuki members who can beat him are itachi, pein, and tobi. He matches up well with most everyone, and hes easily the best long range fighter. +rep for the thread
