Is Crunchyroll worth it?

I'm thinking about buying a subscription, but I was wondering what are your guys opinions about Crunchyroll. Do you have any experience with it? If so, how would you rate their service. They have a decent amount of currently airing Anime so that's a plus. I don't really want too many people telling me just to torrent or stream from other sites. I don't mind if others do it, it's none of my business, but I would like to help out the industry.

Honestly as a paying member it depends on your taste on anime and where you live. It's GREAT if you're in the US. Loads of good shows, Kill la kill, Attack on Titan, HxH, Free!, Gintama, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece all in HD. Top-notch.

If you live in the UK or elsewhere like me, then it's crap. All the best shows didn't make it over so it's a bit crappy but it's sure in better condition than stuff like animefreak. I still use it because it actually encourages me to watch anime and I love HD. Plus I found a bunch of smaller quirky series like Kyousougiga, My Little Monster & Durarara. THEY make it work.

Depends where you live and what your tastes are. In terms of reliability, its top notch, great quality, etc. Do some research on what series are available, then decide if its worth it based on what you like

You have a privilege I do not have. So worth it. Plus it's always rewarding to actually support the anime industry considering most of the rest of the world steals it and then wonders why studios like Perriot can't afford better animation. :\ Poor industry.

To me it is really worth it , now they stream manga as well & since I'm reading coppelion & Aot , you get the releases first , also hd anime , fun forum with more variety of discussions about different manga/anime instead of one series like in here .

Since you live in the US , it is definitely worth it .

really ? Never made a thread in there before , I was thinking on making one requesting a manga , ill see how that goes . But I think the forum is very active , depending on the series release tho......still like it .

It all depends...do you have an Android phone? If so....PM me and I can tell you a safe way to watch everything you watch on crunchy for free. Also...you can download them straight to your phone. Imho.....it blows Crunchy out of the water 1000xs over it's that much better imo. Manga as well.....

Yes, I support legal streaming all the way. I would definitely start ****ing with Crunchyroll, Funimation, Anime Network, etc.. There's even some anime on AN you can watch for free.

It's okay, if you want to watch it in your TV like with your ps3 it's good to have. I'd much rather pay for it than Netflix.

But if you have a good laptop or tablet you can easily watch any anime for free. Crunchyroll doesn't have every anime released that season and a lot of the shows are region based as well.

It's pretty worth it, When I have a guest pass that I'm using, I watch the new anime from there.

But If I don't have a guest pass, I just watch my Anime on AnimeUltima.TV.
