Is Boruto overpowered?

just as the title says, do you think boruto is overpowered right from the start and that there isn't enough buildup leading to main events? So basically, is the story rushed?

I am talking about the manga though not the anime...

Not even close. By this time during the naruto series, naruto was unleashing chakra levels greater than the Hiruzen, Jiraiya, and Kakashi with demon form chakra.
Boruto isn't even half that and he just got some seal that hasn't done anything yet. He's moderate the way he is now, we still need to wait and see.

No. Mitsuki >= Sarada >= Boruto. Boruto is about chunin level at best for now.
