What's Bolt doing? Destroying birthday cakes.

Having a mind set a kage doesn't make you one, you need power too. Its still unclear whether he destroyed the birthday cake or just was an accident. Till then keep your fingers in place.

I don't know how far his Prodigal abilities go. We just have trailers to go by.

He can't be better than Itachi, though Minato he seems to be surpassing.

Kishimoto set him up to learn FTG with everything he has done so far with his name, skill, and character.

Itachi at 7 had the intellect of a Hokage and at 13 easily defeated a Legendary Sannin who could have been Hokage.

I doubt Boruto will develop this rapidly. I could see him surpassing Minato though.

Listen, op compared Bolt to Itachi not Itachi to Bolt.

And when it comes down to it, Itachi was well rounded but was more rational (Kage mindset).

Boruto has shown so much skill and potential but he still loses to Itachi at that age..
Itachi at age 14 took on a Hokage candidate ( talking of Orichimaru ) and solo-stomped him
I don't see Bolt soloing any kage-level shinobi at that age..
besides at age 12 Itachi was confirmed to be in the Anbu which means he was jounin level by then..
Boruto is 12 in the movie timeline yet I doubt he is jounin level already

The former two grew up in eras where there was constant warfare, so there was a clear emphasis on honing on skill

Boruto is growing up in a era of peace, its rather impressive that he has developed this powerful of an arsenal without having to truly test it in combat
