Is Bleach Good ?
I started off reading only one Manga; Naruto.
Then heard of all the OnePiece hype and started reading that and it turned out to be great.
Then started Fairy Tail and I liked it more than OnePiece because it was so easy to get into.

But in between all of these I tried a few other mangas that were absolute shit.

Could someone give a quick summary about what Bleach is about without giving away too much of the story if I start to read it. I know its about demons and angels and the main character is Ichigo and that's pretty much all I know.

i advice you to also watch the anime, bleach is awesome in its own way so if you would like a very dark series (not so heroic as naruto) go for bleach. won't spoil it for you by saying anything but i promis you you will like it. read the manga or better watch the anime (skip the fillers) . bleach also has a great story with some of the biggest bad ass characters i have ever seen (zaraki and yamamoto)

This. But be wary that the anime has lots of filler arcs that IMO aren't that great, except for a few.

ive kept up with bleach from the very beginning and all in all i think its gd very gd fighting scenes, however there is one arc that it goes downhill but dont worry it picks up later its defo something u should read and find out for urself

Thanks for the summary both of you. Are the power levels in it similar to Naruto or do they destroy planets like in Dragon Ball ?

Bleach is pretty good not as good as Naruto but good, it can be disappointing though

Bleach is great but the dialogue lacks in some areas. Other than that give it a go.

Ichigo in final form can destroy a mountainby swinging his zanpakouto so yeah power is there.

The thing with Bleach is that there are some story arcs that are AMAZING (better then Naruto) and others that are not so great (The filler episodes are far more annoying). There are a lot more twists and intrigue from the outset.

Basically the main protagonist (Ichigo) receives Shinigami (death god/soul reaper powers) from Rukia. This is odd, because he’s human and not a Shinigami. The Shinigami come from a place called the Soul Society with its own system of government, dogma and rules, with the Shinigami being divided into 13 squads. Clearly the captains of the squads are hard as nails.

The Shinigami’s job is to harvest the souls on earth. Good souls get packed off to ‘heaven’ and bad souls (‘Hollows’) get packed off to ‘hell’. Hollows eat other souls. They are bad and the Shinigami fight them.

The very last anime episode has a lot of flashbacks and will give you a good taste of it, but will clearly also give some bits away.....

They are far from busting planets. Well BM naruto can solo bleach so you should get the idea.

But bleach is a pretty good series but skip full bring arc. That's the worst arc in manga history.
