Jozu's feats and portrayal are better than Ace's. Marco is the only example we have of 1st division commander also being first mate.

Power doesn't mean who beats it just means who has the most power and tbh is in the eye of the beholder

As far as Blackbeard's Crew goes I looked it up and no one officially has the position of first mate. Even still it would be shameful if your first division commander was so far outclassed by ppl who have already reached their natural peak and u just picked up from out of a jail cell

Shiryu was Magellan level preskip, someone who low diffed Ivankov(one of the major forces of the revolutionaries), so unless you guys think he grew weaker over the timeskip(instead of stronger), there is no way in hell that Burgess is stronger. There is also Kuzan who is probably the 10th giant that tagged along. Not to mention the level6 prisoners that all had greater hype than Burgess preskip

No I just don't think Shiryu got much stronger while Burgess and the rest were playing catch up

Well he was the son of Roger and being groomed by WB himself to be the next PK so... The Ace downplay is hard on the base.

They are the weakest yonkou crew currently. BB with his crew stalemated Old Sengoku. The 2nd strongest of the crew is Shiryu and he would lose to Magellan who is weaker than Ivankov, PXO Kuma, and had trouble pinning down pre-TS Luffy even when he was blinded and disorientated.

I don't see y ppl assume that adult characters that already are experienced at Haki will get sooooo much stronger in the course of 2 years

We haven't really seen enough of BB crew or the man himself to say how strong or weak they may be. We do know that Burgess is several leagues weaker than Sabo but that's about it. Is Burgess the strongest in BB pirates after Teach? Maybe, but we don't know that yet.

Shiryuu obviously isn't in his prime. He should be around Mihawk's level at EOS since he is going to be Zoro's last or 2nd to last opponent, so he should have improved over the TS.

That is the point of DF hunting :|

As a swordsman Zoro will be better. If Zoro is aiming for Mihawk I doubt someone like Shiryu can even catch up to Vista

BB is all about cheap power and his crew is riding on easy street

How many times has it been said that someone's rank in a Yonko crew doesn't correlate with strength?

Burgess is most definitely not the second strongest, its Shiryu followed by someone else who is NOT Burgess. Odas not stupid enough to have Luffys biggest enemy have such an underwhelming second In command.

Shiryu is also up there with Sabo for sure.

Lol if youre counting Aokiji then they have the strongest crew easily.

But ignoring Aokiji...Shiryu pre timeskip was around Magellans level that is already well above current Burgess.

They're the weakest yonko crew. Not everyone gets ridiculous stronger over a time skip.
Luffys crew specifically trained for 2 years.

But i guess well find out in a few chapters when BB meets the worlds most dangerous man.
