I only read a few but from what I did read and remember theres this rich kid who has an extraordinary butler.

something happened to his parents and the butler is special.

Its awesome. The anime even more so.

It's much darker than Death Note but also keeps some comedy relief at times. Its in my top 5 fav anime/manga of all time.

No worries man. Reading back I made it sound borring haha.

Honestly though it is a good and worth the read. Ive been meaning to go back to it but hunter x hunter has taken over my life.

Its a fine anime, though this series is aimed at girls boys can also enjoy it if they ignore that Yaoi flag

It's really good but it's not even close to being similar to death note (plot wise) maybe animation wise

It's about a wealthy English boy whose parents were killed, so he makes a contract with a demon, who becomes his butler until the day he takes revenge and then he's allowed to consume his soul.

The ending was a little meh for me, but the anime was still very good (Part II is supposed to be non-canon, though, if that's an issue for you).
