Is being a shinobi compulsory?

While I was writing a new bio for the RP and I was writing moreso about ninja comradery not having the desire to be a ninja anymore and it occured to me, do you think it's compulsory to be a ninja in the Narutoverse? I mean, apart from a few people, namely the old man who runs Ichiraku Ramen have all been shown as ninja, and in that sense, he may also be a Ryouri-Nin (Cooking Ninja). It's just a common thought I had.

So yeah, is being a ninja compulsory?

No there are plenty of ordinary people in the Naruto world that have no ninja abilities at all and are simply living as normal people. Also people may also become Samurai who are different from ninja. On top of that many of the bandits seen early on in Naruto did not show any ninja abilities, they were just ordinary people with swords.

I don't think so, there are plenty of civilians living in Konoha and other ninja villages, but apparently in the Narutoverse it's so cool being a ninja that if you have some talent you should work on it

There are people that naturally cannot meld chakra such as Rock Le and so can't be a ninja even if they wanted to unless they have that kind of determination as he does.

well....being shinobi isnt compalsury..but i guess.... iiits everyone dream of being powerfull....as only strongest people in ninja wrold survives!
