He should be dead. He is no Uzumaki. And besides If Naruto is Dying then Bee should be Dead. A nice one panel shot of him lifeless could have put all that to rest Kishi. Way to just forget about a guy who thaught Naruto how to become a perfect jin and has been fighting this war along side Naruto the whole time.

I cant see how he'd have survived. He does not have the life force of an Uzumaki, and neither was there a yin/yang separation of his Bijuu that may now potentially be the thing that saves the life of Naruto. Even if Bee had somehow extracted one of the tentacles of the Hachibi, i doubt this would have gone unnoticed by Madara who successfully extracted the 8-Tails from him.

Regardless tho...

There has to be some significance to severing one of his tails off, Kishi leaves a lot of stuff unanswered until later, Yamato, Kabuto, and he probably won't get back to B until Madara is defeated.

Kishi wouldn't simply skip his death.

He is alive in the tentacle that the Hachibi cut off before getting sucked in. He's probably using that bit of left over Hachibi chakra to conserve his life despite Hachibi being extracted.

this ^^ i doubt kishi would just offscreen such an important character. he's on his last leg, sure he'll die when its all said and done tho.
