You're just downright in denial. Why would he deactivate sage mode after rescuing sarada & chocho? You would have an actual argument if there was a panel showing naruto deactivating sm after he saved them but there isn't meaning he used his base speed to save them.

Pretty strong as he used Big Ball Rasengans in base during the war on Madara's Susanoo. According to the data book, those things have mountain busting potential.

Pretty fast for saving chocho in base and being fast enough to intercept one of Madara's truth seeking balls to save Guy from death. Recall that Lee had to open the 8 gates in order to save Guy from Madara once. He could also fend off Deva path in taijutsu without clones or anything of the like. Deva path was good enough in taijutsu to dodge Kakashi's Rakiri and even stab the copy ninja with a chakra rod.

Pretty physically strong as he planted Sasuke into a wall with one punch in their vote2 fight while completely weakened.

Using clones in combination with taijutsu makes him incredibly formidable in close quarters as he could decieve Kakuzu and get close enough to use Rasenshuriken at point blank range twice. Recall that Kakuzu had previously soloed Kakashi with threads and would have torn his heart out if not for Shikamaru's plan. He was even using more threads when Naruto fought him.

Even in part 1, this method of fighting allowed him to severely damage Gaara in his partial Bijuu transformation using explosive notes and punches from clones. Recall that Sasuke used Chidori with Lee's speed, a two tomoe Sharingan and even his cursed seal to no avail against Gaara in this state.

In the beginning of part 2 this allowed him to defeat one of Kakashi's clones in close quarters during their bell test. Remember when he went to attack before Kakashi said 'start'?

Using clones to analyse his opponent's techniques and fighting style gives him a tactical advantage. Recall that this is the tactic usually employed by the genius level Kakashi.

Remember that without Kurama interfering with his chakra, he can now freely summon boss toads in base. This he demonstrated by summoning Gamakichi. Remember that Gamakichi now possesses Senjutsu.

In speed I would say he is definitely on the same level as a base Kakashi. Probably higher.

His clone utilizing taijutsu style will allow him fight virtually anybody at close quarters with no problem at all.

Big Ball Rasengan boasts immense destructive power. It was one of Jiraiya's strongest attacks in Sage mode after all. This will allow Naruto match and overwhelm most techniques so he is ok in the ninjutsu department. Plus toads give him another unique arsenal of attacks.

Consensus: He is kage level.
