Maybe, but I do not think this will happen. Ichigo and Uryuu were never rivals like Naruto and Sasuke.

bleach has way more charachters who are to powerfull for the manga's own good. they will eventually find some stupid way to blow him up from the inside or seal him. getting byakuya to solo him is out of the question.

I know he is the main character, but we do not know if Ichigo has surpasses Yamato or not? It does not mean the main character is always the strongest. If he can use his hollow mask and full hollwifaction maybe.

@OP: ichigo and uryuu aren't like naruto and sasuke however they aren't above bandning together to defeat a common enemy.

also don't think he'll be able to neutralize ichigo. ichigo's his weakness if he has one. hollow and quincy mix. seems lethal.
