[Discussion] Is anyone else disappointed in Kurama

I remember back in the day when Kurama was ominous and threatening and now he just seems like a big ol softy. A tsundere at that.

I mean seeing this^ was kinda depressing when I think back on how awesome he used to be. I mean "help us"??? Really??? It would have been so much better if he would have just told Naruto to go kick Sasuke's a**.

I mean Kurama is still a powerhouse, but seeing him being turned into a house cat is really too much.

I definitely am, Kurama used to be awesome when he used to solo fights alone, but now him and his friends are being solo'd like nothing, also in personality wise he became too soft for my liking U_U

That is just utterly false. A Jin may be able to focus a bijuu's power better but a Bijuu does not need a Jin to use their own full power. I've yet to see a TBB bigger than the one a 50% Kurama created when inside of Naruto.

He was under the genjutsu and control of Sasuke, who was using rinnegan genjutsu, something that kurama never faced before even with madara, so of course he is going to ask for help, but that's not his true side, you're being so shallow. His true side is caring for others, being a team player, a prankster at that as well, among other fox-like characteristics. That is what a "true side" to someone is.

If I was known to be misguided like Sasuke, and wanted revenge on konoha for killing his beloved brother, then suddenly after learning the truth, going back to konoha when attacked by pein and protecting people rather than killing them, is called a true side.

He has been trapped for so long, may b he is tired .....

He respects naruto thats why. He acts like that around the sage too. Hes lived a long time and always gets treated like a caged pet. Naruto gained his respect theres nothing else to it. He hasnt changed one bit only towards naruto

They did not think Sasuke was an enemy any longer, they were caught by surprise by the genjutsu. Under the genjutsu they cannot break free of the chubaku tensei. Kurama helped Naruto break free the first time Naruto was trapped in it. Without the genjutsu the tailed beasts could probably free themselves since they are pure chakra.

He asked Naruto for help because he knows Naruto cares what happens to him and the other tailed beasts. Most other people haven't gotten over their fear of the tailed beasts. They do not feel that way about everyone. Gaara's TB did not want to help him when he first asked. It was only when Gaara said never mind I'll get someone else did he allow Gaara to use his power during the war. They just want to go home and be left alone. They are as leary of mankind as mankind is of them.
