[Discussion] Is anyone against dating outside their own race?

Hah, I'm not mad, mate. I was just shocked at what she said.

There is always someone in my threads who likes to start with the typical "you're mad" speech.

When it comes to me, If you're going to have an opinion then it better be logically sound. In her words, her opinion was complete trash in my ears. If you prefer a certain race then fine, but stating that all because of the color of a child. Yes, that is pretty stupid.

Opinions don't have to be rational. Plus, I don't think there's a rational reason anyone could provide for not wanting to date someone with another skin color. Its just something they don't want to do.

no, i think you misunderstood. i understand not liking someone for their attitude. i said it isn't the attitude that he's turned off from its the skin tone. because he said he isn't attracted to black girls, but he would date a light skinned girl. and then made his reasoning that he's from the land of the ratchets, insisting that the darker girls are the only ratchets and thats what made him unattracted to them. but there are light skinned ratchet girls in atlanta too.

assuming he'd date a light skinned well kept girl out of atlanta whats to stop him from dating a darker, well kept girl out of atlanta? nothing but her skin. it isn't the attitude because the attitude can apply to any race/color/skintone, its the color itself he doesn't prefer.

Your reading comprehension is disturbing. Not wanting to date a particular race because you do not find them ATTRACTIVE does not = racism. Racism is hatred, and I do not hate any one race more than another one.

Honestly I think your accusing him of typeing something he didn't. He never stated what your saying he did. He just said "I'm from Atlanta home of the ratchets" where in that statement do you get that he meant light skinned girls are less slutty than dark skinned girls. I think you don't like his preference so now your starting shit. He can't help what he's attracted to.

He's not all that wrong. I go to a school with girls of different races, and maybe it's just because the number of black girls outweigh the number of white girls, but I have yet to see anywhere near as many white girls have the ratchet or sassy attitude the way I have seen in many, many black girls. To say black girls are very sassy isn't farfetched or completely untrue.
