I was really curious about the plan Law had with taking down Kaido. Yeah The last 2 chapters were epic. But when Law said that the alliance between him and the SW was over. It was kinda disappointing only to realize was that his plan all along was just to get revenge on Doflamingo for what happened 13 years ago. It's been an amazing arc, we know what doflamingo's power is, we saw epic fights, there were some laughable perverted moments on Oda's part (the munchkins wanted Robin's clothes in one chapter haha) But only to realize the build up of this master scheme was a hoax really disappointed me. what do you think?

Not really. Law suddenly wanting to take out a Yonko didn't make much sense to me, to find out it was to get back at Joker appeals to me because we will finally get some insight on both Law's and Joker's past.

I assume that Law will still want to take down a Yonko after all this ends.

Before making any assumptions, wait until we get Law's true motives/intents with Doffy and then make your conclusion. Trust me by the end of the arc, we will get a nice explanation.

I also don't wanna judge this arc till it's over. I didn't like Punk Hazard that much, but re-reading it today, I realized it was pretty entertaining, so I wanna wait till the arc is over and judge it as a whole like I was able to do with PH.

I'm thinking this as well, it's possible Law said what he did just to make to temporarily fool everyone so that his plans work out the way he intends. I'm also glad that Law is isolating DD for revenge cause I've wanted to see the history of and between the both of them

OT: No, I haven't been disappointed once so far but it's not over yet. I don't see myself being unsatisfied but it's possible.

I agree, he likely wishes to stop Kaidou, but he's dedicated himself to stop Doflamingo beforehand.

Yeah you're in that sinking ship by yourself. Part of the reason is because you don't think before you post.

1) Law said the alliance between Luffy and himself is over because Law knows for a FACT he can't beat Doflamingo. When the plan went to shit Law was focused on three things: 1) stealing back Caesar 2) protecting the Straw Hats and 3) killing Doflamingo knowing he himself would die in the attempt. He didn't end his alliance because he got what he needed from the crew, rather he knew he f_cked up and he's actually putting his life on the line not just for revenge but to ensure the SH crew escapes.

2) He entire plan was not getting revenge on Doflamingo you Narutofantard. Like all the other Supernova he wants to be the best and part of establishing oneself as the top dog is taking out the Yankou. Law was/is focused on the goal of taking down Kaidou BUT he ALSO wants to get revenge on Doflamingo. Are you that dumb that I have to explain this to you? Luffy wants to be King of the Pirates but I guarantee you he wants to get revenge on Akainu. Even with that said, the latter goal doesn't usurp the former. The same is true of Law.

3) We KNOW what Doflamingo's power is you f#cking idiot!! LAW TOLD US. Doflamingo's DF allows him to use spider webs to not only ensnare his foes but control them like puppets. Something we've known since BEFORE Marinefold you jackass. When the Shuchibukai had a meeting with the Marines and someone tried to mouth off to Doflamingo, he made the guy kill himself. He did this by simply moving his fingers. Any idiot - well almost any idiot could have figured this out but I can see you're the exception.

4) The build up to the master scheme was hardly a hoax. Law wanted to compromise Kaidou's military forces and kill Doflamingo. Law succeeded in the former. The latter? Hardly. But given the scope of his plan, striking a blow against Kaidou's forces is no small feat. What do I think? I think you're an idiot and you are still only the 93rd most annoying son of a ***** on this forum I've talked to today.

Someone close this thread.

yeah I think this Arc is just getting started and I feel that Luffy will recruit Rebecca because she seems beast and the Straw Hats need another girl to spice things up a bit Rebecca, Jinbei's unspoke of Son (fishman) and Sabo

One Piece arcs are always slow, but they build up in epicness. That's why I prefer waiting out the chapters and reading them in bulk ^^

I suppose I was too skeptical. I didn't think he could've been lying about that. Yeah we don't know how long this arc will go so I will leave it at that.

This makes more sense to me then going after the strongest out of the big 4. makes no sense going strait there when luffy and the crew still need more growth. But im sure it'll end up happening someway. But right now kid and his alliance are going after 1 of the four for sure. So that may entice the SH to do the same after this arc. But if Luffy and the crew were going to fight any of them first it would be big mama.

Well a loooot of people assumed law was using the SHs to go against Doflamingo, that being said, Laws plan might not be over yet anyway, though weather it is or not I don't mind it because it lead into the epicness that is DressrosA

Perhaps the alliance thing between Luffy and Law is over from the point of view of Law, but to Luffy seems he still think the alliance thing as nakama/friendship of that sort. We should expect an answer/decision on Luffy's behalf whether this alliance is over or what.

Perhaps Law won't be needed anymore, perhaps Barto will be Luffy's slave alliance along with Chinjao's army to take down Kaidou. At least Luffy might lose an effective alliance as Law, but he got a much bigger support thanks to Barto and Chinjao.

So far I really like this arc. The only thing that was meh was Rebecca's character.

The arc isn't finished yet and Oda has the habit of pulling a jack-out-of-a-box, so who knows how the story might end up? Not to mention it was to be expected that the plan wouldn't got as planned, I mean even Strawhats themselves say that there is no way Luffy will be able to follow a plan + from Luffy's and the Strawhats point of view Law has always been some kind of a nice guy, however Kidd said that he was famous for his cruelty and he became Shichibukai when he gave the hearts of a 100 pirates to the WG. Add to that you know he is a cunning guy, you could expect that he would do something sooner or later. Also don't forget Law knows in the least the notion of the Will of D.

I actually like arc much better than Punk Hazard so far. Punk Hazard had very little moments which excited me and tbh, wasnt that great apart from the very ending of it.

This arc started off with a BANG!! I like things which start straight off the bat with a action!! We got to find out/see alot of interesting shit man :

- Buggy is an shichibukai XD

- Mysterious shichibukai who has meant to have torn Master Zephyrs arm off and murder his family :(

- More depth into Doflamingo. His crew such as Bellamy's comeback, past and his connections as well as his devil fruit name and abilities.

- Seen Garp flashback, he has armament haki [ im sure he has all three though ]

- Got a little more insight into the void century

- Got to see amazing characters DonChou, Cavendish, Bartholomeo , Jesus burgess

- Small miniature men and women called Tontatta who have vowed vengeance against doflamingo [ they are so adorable <3 ]
