is amatrasu really short range jutsu?

when i read about amatrasu in naruto base( justus ) i found it short range jutsu

and i noted that when sasuke wanted to use amatrasu on danzu who was flying that moment and sasuke was in susano
he jumped to hit him with amatrasu like he can't do this while he still stand on the ground

There isnt much to say. The flames materialize on whatever the eye is focusing on. That could be a shinobi 20 feet away or a shinobi 100 yards away. And Weve already seen Sasuke use it for defensive purposes on multiple occasions so thats pretty self-explanatory.

Yes but he has also spread the flames on the ground to stop an advancing Kabuto so Itachi could probably do the same as well.

Sasuke is well versed in Amaterasu
Madara is well versed in Susano'o

Yes it is, or rather, it loses is speed after it travels any farther than a short distance, making it easier for someone to dodge it at long range. In order for it to be effective, the person needs to be close up so that they cant escape their sight.

whether kakashi's kamui or amatrasu both of them appear with eye but there are deference ,when A avoid amatrasu ,it moved after that and wouldn't appear on other point ,but didra when he was avoiding kakashi's kamui as he wasn't good in kamui at that time the kamui's black hole appeared on clouds which was behind didra
