What is Medical Ninjutsu? To sum it up Medical Ninjutsu is an extremely important and special form of ninjutsu. I use the word important and special because depending on who learns such a jutsu, its meaning can vary. To someone it might be a key to great power and destruction coupled with malevolent deeds, and to someone else it might be a way to heal and restore. Other times it might be a mixture of both. For instance, look at Kabuto and Tsunade. Even though they both have used Medical Ninjutsu to fight, it is safe to say Tsunade would utilize her medical ninjutsu to her limits to heal and protect allies more so than Kabuto. Even if it means her death, she will perform her duties as a healer first and fighter when necessary. The meaning of any jutsu can very from person to person; however, with medical ninjutsu its interchangeable meaning holds significant value. So what is medical ninjutsu? In a basic understanding it is a form of ninjutsu that requires great knowledge of the human body, precise chakra control, and even great natural precision outside of controlling chakra. It requires not only great focus, but great judgment. Through the use of chakra, and natural abilities the user can heal/save others as well as themselves. You also have to know about other things such as pills, plants and their effect on others. As I said before, Medical Ninjutsu cannot be fully defined without personal thoughts. So to add onto the basic definition medical ninjutsu, to me, encompasses putting others first. It can be used as a deadly weapon but medical ninjutsu's primary function is to protect and save others. To learn this jutsu is to know you will be trusted. You will have responsibility over lives. One receiving medical ninjutsu should understand that ultimately it is a jutsu that is for others more so than a jutsu for oneself.
Why do you want to learn Medical Ninjutsu? I believe in transparency so I will list personal reasons as well as the more unselfish reasons.
As it pertains to others:
I can act brash and outspoken at times. I can also make a lot of jokes, but I really do like helping others when I can. If I were a medical ninja I would do my best to bring medical ninjutsu back to its primary function. I know it sounds hard to believe, and others might think I am just trying to sound good, but my actions speak louder than words. My two bios above consist of a smoke ninjutsu user, and a samurai. I managed to get other abilities through a lotto, but I still chose to stack those abilities on a smoke ninjutsu bio...simply because I like the story I can tell with that bio. Although I love these bios, I could go for more potent abilities/bios. I acknowledge power and having/seeking power is not a bad thing, but hopefully people know by now that seeking things solely to raise my status among my peers or gain a bit of an edge is not something that really drives me. I'm usually in any and every event going on in the NW so I will be readily available for my allies. If no event is going on then I'm RP'ing to build bio history. I would love to be able to help my fallen comrades during these events, or even others who I believe need my help. Returning the trust my comrades place in me is something that really does drive and influence my actions.
As it pertains to myself
It would be a lie to say Medical Ninjutsu didn't provide some good benefits as it pertains to oneself. It can be an offensive and defensive juggernaut if used correctly. I've only faced Nathan in a short unofficial spar, but his medical ninjutsu was becoming a problem for me. >_>. Since I have mastered fuinjutsu, I would also like this ability to acquire Medical Fuinjutsu as well. It would be a nice addition to the bio I'm trying to build up. I haven't given it much serious thought, but I would like to see how I might utilize medical ninjutsu with my salamanders. Outside of the abilities I can gain, I like its RP potential as it pertains to my Ragna bio (which I have been building up since I first joined NB RP). His transformation from a selfish monster of a man who was hell bent on revenge and destruction has been transforming before the NB RP community's eyes. Revenge is now entering the back of his mind as he now cares about holding on to the things dear to him. Making friends and protecting them is now something that is becoming even more important to him than death and destruction. Overcoming his darkest, and most selfish desires is a theme when I RP as Ragna and I think if he was able to heal and save others while making the philosophical judgments that come with using such a skill, it would mesh well with the story I've laid out. (I'm being so serious right now...I love storytelling). The dichotomy between his curse mark influence and a jutsu meant to save others is too good of a chance to pass up. xD...I think I nerded out enough on this portion of the app. Please forgive me.
Thanks for the opportunity. Good luck to the rest of the field.
