Team 2 Easily Asuma far exceeds every other ninja, and since he knows Kurenai(theyre lovers) he clearly knows her skills and how to counteract genjutsu

Kurenai can actually solo.

Her genjutsu has been shown to be not strong. Itachi easily reversed the genjutsu on her, but couldn't release the genjutsu cast by Tayuya on his own. So her genjutsu is far inferior to even Tayuya's.

Mizuki > Iruka (canon).
Genma > Ebisu (one is an elite bodyguard, the other teaches kid, Genma's portrayal is superior).
Asuma > Kurenai (he's more overwhelming, she's not using any genjutsu before getting cut).

Scenario 2: Whatever Ibiki can do, its going to tip the scale in team 1 favor.
