Iruka could potentialy be OP compared to average ninjas

now before people say that Iruka is fodder cause he doesnt compare to Madara or Hashi but we arent comparing him to them. were comparing him to most other ninjas.

But with Irukas Barrier Jutsu all he has to do is grab you then your trapped and he could just take out a Kunai and finish you. it took a BIJUU MODE NARUTO TO BREAK IT!!! so most ninja wont be able to get out of it.

also we do know Iruka knows all basic ninja jutsus and skills because he teaches them
-Transformation jutsu
-Clone Jutsu
-Substitution Jutsu

he was also asked by 3rd Hokage to become a Jounin but he denied it stating that he wants to keep teaching.

doesnt he have a feat of beating 2 genins in the chuunin exams for opening the scrolls?

if you count anime feats he gets
-Paper bomb square jutsu
-able to dispell genjutsu
-able to keep up with beefed up Mizuki

Iruka sucks. Naruto surpassed him after learning shadow clone jutsu. I bet that seal is easy to break and takes long to perpare. Iruka is a looser and he would loose to everybody in the konoha 11. Also the third never asked him to become a jonin. Where did you get that crap:rofl:

i agree he isnt legendary like Tsunade but he can probably beat 1/2 of the allied army 1 on 1.

He wasn't the one who knocked out the Genin's in the exam, he was specifically attached to Team 7's scroll each scroll had a different shinobi attached to it.

He is not fodder I don't underrate him but he is definitely not stronger than Sakura or Kurenai, Sakura is one of the physically strongest and top medical ninja's in the Leaf, and Kurenai is the Genjutsu specialist of the village, Konahamaru would be debateable.

ok then but also the 3rd hokage saw over what chuunin were to be with what team also the chuunins have to be atleast strong enough to knock out the genin squad so that would mean the 3rd hokage must have thought about it..

Believe it or not, Mizuki had the upperhand in his fight against Iruka. Academy Naruto fodderized Mizuki and saved Iruka's life. In other words, Iruka is a fodder and would lose to most people on your list.
