Irredeemable Characters

These are just a couple of characters that I think Kishimoto tried to redeem, but are beyond redemption, either within the plot of the Naruto series, or as a stand alone character. These are all opinion based so if you like to list some characters you think are irredeemable, you are free to do so.

I also recommend you READ these before your brain makes any quick assumptions. You'll make yourself look stupid if you don't, trust me.

Obito Uchiha a.k.a "Forever Friendzoned"

Obito is the guy who Aided in the Uchiha massacre, started the Akatsuki,
caused of Minato/Kushina, started a ninja war, killed Neji, killed Konan, and ended
the lives of hundreds of innocent fodder all because his childhood crush died. No
matter all the efforts he tries in aiding Naruto and Sasuke beat Kaguya,
he is forever irredeemable.

Minato Namikaze a.k.a "Father of the Year"

Being killed after Naruto's birth. Minato now resurrected through edo tensei is
given a second chance at being a good father, but all his efforts have been denied.
In an effort to protect his son against Madara, Minato rushes him, but ends up getting solo'd.
Another opportunity is given. Naruto is on the verge of death and Minato can save him by
transferring the kyuubi inside him, but BZ ends up intercepting the ninetails like a boss. Its not
that Minato is irredeemable, its just that Kishimoto won't give him the redemption. ​

Sakura Haruno a.k.a "The Pink Mamba"

All the Sakura hate put aside, Sakura is the reason why Naruto has put his life on
the line to save Sasuke, she has put her comrades in danger multiple times for the
sake of her life, her attraction to a guy that tried to end her life twice is disgusting,
and she lied straight to Naruto's face. I couldn't care less how useless she is, she
did Naruto really dirty with that lie. Sakura's irredeemable in my book.

Itachi Uchiha a.k.a “The Fetal Fodderizer”

In this case, being irredeemable is not a bad thing.
Itachi betrayed his clan and slaughted his family for the sake of the village,
but Kishimoto made it so Itachi was forced into committing the massacre and Itachi
actually loved Sasuke the entire time, rather than being a ruthless, cold hearted badass.
Kishi tried to redeem Itachi of all his misdeeds, but there is no redemption after killing
innocent Uchiha babies, there just isn’t. I’m clarifying this now, I still think Itachi’s awesome.

Sasuke is different now
Naruto has given her hope that Sasuke can be changed, she can't let go of this hope because of her love, so her love is reinforced by the hope, which she can't let go of because of love, which is reinfor....it goes on.
Without her, Naruto would be dead
Sasuke would be trapped

Only illiterate dumbf*cks still think Sakura is useless or hasn't redeemed herself.

I wholeheartedly disagree with this entire list. The fact that you said that Minato isn't irredeemable doesn't change anything at all: he doesn't need to be redeemed. He didn't do anything bad as a father, he just couldn't do anything as a father. In fact, he's a pretty good one for sacrificing his own life to save his son's. And the reason why Itachi had such a big impact on Sasuke is because he couldn't be redeemed. Being unable to be redeemed in that sense is different than the rest of your list, since your list is mostly meta.
edit: And where would we be without Sasuke if Ms. Can'tberedeemed killed* him?
*that kunai probably wouldn't have killed him

I see your points. I mostly agree on parts of Obito and Itachi - not because I dislike them but because I'd prefer it if Kishi kept them villainous or morally ambiguous instead of trying to present them as heroes. I never cared much about Minato and Sakura, well, yeah, her development is flawed, but if we're talking about still loving Sasuke, Karin and Ino are basically just as bad, if not worse.

This thread is opinion based, so disagreeing with my opinion means nothing. I already told people that they should share their opinion on who they think is irredeemable, but most people went ahead and shared their opinion on my opinion.

Also, I personally feel like you can't defend your opinion because your response is also going to be opinion based.

Sakura's definitely beyond redemption, Kishi could probably give her ultra powers and have her solo Kaguya effortlessly and she'd still be the most hated character around, so much damage has been done.

I dont see why Minato is there, but whatever.
Itachi already redeemed himself buy helping the shinobi world fight against evil and stopping Edo-Tensei.

Also he forced Kabuto in becoming good, if Kabuto didnt turn away from evil, Sasuke might not be alive right now.

Also, he is a shinobi and has to make sacrifices, but his deeds are different than Obito's who was evil all along and has never regreted anything up until a few chapters ago.

I didn't say people couldn't disagree, I just said their opinions don't matter. And thats a fact.

Ex. Say I hated One piece and I thought it was shit(which I don't), but thats only my opinion. To you or to someone else who is an OP fan, that opinion doesn't matter, what matters to you is what you think.

Thats my logic behind me saying his opinion did not matter.
