I watched all 700 episodes of Naruto but still "give up" when the going gets tough. Not always, but I still give up sometimes.

Like, if there's only a bit of coke left in the fridge and my brother and I arrive at the fridge at the same time, I just let him have it. I don't ever protest, I don't even negotiate.

I think watching Naruto has taught me more about the "impossibility" of "peace" and how our current world has a long way to go more than it taught me about not throwing in the towel when it gets ugly.

I don't know, but I never really caught the "the theme' of Naruto.

There are two main themes that I took away from Naruto. The first is overcoming adversity, setting goals, and believing in yourself. The other major theme is "the sum of the parts do not equal the whole." The individual is only as good as his community. We are just a proverbial link in the chain. The story also shows the merit behind hard work, optimism, team work, and determination. None of these are themes are new territory, but the story is definitely conveys the message in a meaningful and entertaining way.
