Is it me or did his character go downhill because of Ironman 3?

Like he doesn't even feel like Ironman anymore personally..... They pulled a Dark Knight Batman on it, you know where Batman the most loyal superhero against crime, leaves the war against crime to live peaceful life, while his city suffers.

Ironman in Iron Man 3 was just tony stark...

The ending line by him " I am Ironman".... my reaction to it was " umm , though your computer was the one that was controlling the ironmen.. So isn't Jarvis the real ironman?"

You didn't understand the meaning behind it. He doesn't NEED ironman anymore, but he still is ironman. He won't have 48 or something suits anymore. He'll probably have 2-3. He's over his obsession and knows where to draw the line.

You could say that. However jarvis was made by tony the same as the suits, so by that logic, ironman is ironman.

Really Iron Man 3 was just an awful movie in my opinion. Tony Stark character was boring, they tried spicing it up by make him have trauma from the avengers movie but he had more depth as a drunk in the comic books. Plus they completely destroyed Mandarin, I don't know what they were thinking with him. The whole reason I wanted to see the movie was because of how sweet a villian he was in the comics but they completely destroyed him in the movie. Luckily I saw it for free so I wasn't as disappointed as I could have been.

IronMan 3 was a comedy. It was like an 80's movie. It was a fun movie, but I'm not a fan of the Mandarin twist. All for comedy. It just feels like this film doesn't fit within the Marvel-World, Ironman's world, Avenger world, or anything already established. It's weird.
