Naruto would actually be 50/50 lose or win against sasuke in VOTE2 with no plot restriction. Because in static conditions a bijuu enhanced Susano should annihilate naruto and the bijuu are like a well of power Sasuke can continuously drain from. The reason why he stopped is beyond even me.
Without them Sasuke would've lost (minus plot restrictions).
Although if you mean a rinnegan mastered Sasuke against Naruto with full strength and bloodlust. It ends in a tie deoending on how you view their abilities or which power you like more yin or yang.
Sasuke has already demonstrated the ability to physically touch the TSB as only he and naruto actually touched them otherwise kakashi and sakura would be riding on one. Furthermore SP chakra as well as sage chakra can affect the orbs.
Hashirama has more stamina than Madara naturally he should but in the end they were both extremely tired. Sasuke is quality and Naruto is quantity so naruto has stamina while sasuke doesn't need to put as much chakra in his techniques. No technique RSM Naruto has can kill Sasuke without it being countered and naruto can take Sasuke's attacks head on albeit with damage but not fatal.
And that's just it Sasuke is not going to take Naruto's attacks head on. He's not yang he's yin so he counters or dodges them. If you want a reference. Naruto and Sasuke both took on a massive explosion from indra's arrow and TBRSM senjutsu enhanced and they both came out of that keep in mind Naruto is yang and even Sasuke came from that. And the second clash blew apart the mountain sides but both survived with just their arms and nothing else off. Sasuke also took getting slammed into the mountain by an uppercut moderately well. What does Naruto do to deva path or CT sasuke gets a clone to use CT and one for anomal paths and that deals with clones. RSM gets absorbed and don't give me that sasuke can't absorb senjutsu when a blind rinneganless madara did very comfortably

Shikamaru beats choji but if choji hit shikamaru then he's in trouble therefore choji is better than shikamaru that's essentially your logic because some of naruto's techniques would be fatal he's better and just like the shikanaru example that's flawed reasoning.
Kishi made them equal, plot or no plot. It really deoends on the magnitude of how you feature both of their abilities. Since Sasuke has a massive areay of techs and abilities many say he can win but those who see Naruto as a yang tank and a beater due to his absurd strength say he can win. It really is a matter of perspective I could careless since I don't like a character based on strength alone but I take the author's words here over any bias
